1. Betaab Valley

A signature view of snow capped mountain peaks and deodar and pine forests is what Betaab valley has to offer. Besides being located at a small distance of 7 Kms from Pahalgam Chandanwari Road, this place has a quaint bridge and gorgeous garden that is quite appealing. Be it a calming nature walk in this valley or a trek around the adjacent hills, this spot makes for a perfect getaway from your usual routine for sure! This place is also considered to be apt for having a family picnic.

2. Shalimar Garden

The fact that this famous garden was created by Jehnagir for his wife Nur Jahan, speaks in itself about its impeccable beauty and romantic vibe that lingers here. Also known as the garden of love. Shalimar Garden boasts of four terraces, one of which was reserved by the royal ladies only. If you thought this was it, well, there’s more! The dramatic canal in this garden adds just the exact angle to make your pictures insta-worthy!

3. Yousmarg

Another one of the major places to visit in Kashmir includes Yousmarg. With a wide variety of blossoming plants and trees as far as the eye can see, this non-commercial place is an amazing escapade for tourists. Unlike Gulmarg and Pahalgam, an added advantage of less tourists works well for those who seek to relax amidst absolute calm. A mere 2 hour drive from Srinagar will lead you to this paradise in Kashmir where scenic views will sweep you off your feet.
